For this project we had to pick a song to make an album cover for that at least has 3 tools used on it and create a background using brushes. The song i picked was Three Little Birds by Bob Marely. My three tools were scaling it, hue/saturation, and a filter. I used three different brushes for the background. They were a brush tool that created a palm tree with three birds, a brush that used a lot of different lines, and then the regular brush. I got a picture of Bob Marely's face and put it in the sun. Also in the bottom left corner i put my signature that i made in illustrator then edited in Photoshop. I added some black flakes/dots onto it.
For the second album we had to make i had to do The fall of troy - Tom waits. We had to make a collage of at least 10 pictures. For the first picture i put a gun since that is how Tom was killed. Then i put a robber this that was what his killer was. Then i got a picture of someone waiting on a tree. So i used that picture to represent tom waiting. Then i put a picture of an empty house because thats what their house was like when tom died. I also put a picture of orphans since thats what they were.
For this project we had to make a design from are album to put onto a t-shirt. We had the choice to pic which album we could do. i chose the album i did on Bob Marely's song called Three Little Birds. So i used a custom brush that i found on a brush website for the tree and birds. The tools i used in this we mostly brushes, filters, and layers. I put a palm tree on to give them beach feeling of it and i put three birds because of the songs title. I used a filter to make the colors look like they are fading into each other to not give it a boring look. I had to use layers to filter the palm trees and birds with out the background being filtered. I did a black for the background to make the palm trees and birds more noticeable and pop out more. The circle shape because i didn't like the idea of a box shape on a t-shirt i thought it would look weird. So i did a circle to make it look more like a symbol on the shirt.
